Why Wonder Kidz?

I graduated with a degree of Criminology and Psychology in RMIT in 2022. I’ve been a support worker and a behavioural therapist for two years as I deeply enjoy and connect with our Wonder Kidz as I find the job to be fun and rewarding. The amazing team at Wonder Kidz allows the kids to be in a nurturing and accepting environment that helps the children to learn and thrive but also allows me to grow as a support worker, a behavioural therapist and as a person.

Hi! My name is Chloe Hoang. I’m now currently in the first year of Bachelor of community services in Melbourne. 

I’m passionate about working with neurodivergent children cause my younger brother was one of them with down syndrome. I work in the field with the purpose of helping and connecting neurodivergent children

to this beautiful life, just like other kids. 

Being a part of Wonder Kidz is absolute privilege. I hope that with my passion of helping children and all skills that I have, I can contribute happiness and joy to children who need support out there!”

Hi, I’m Hajer! I have over a year of experience as a support worker at Wonder Kidz. It’s been an enriching journey to be part of a supportive community dedicated to nurturing creativity and curiosity in children. Every day brings new opportunities to inspire and empower them, and I love witnessing their growth and the unique bonds that form. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watching films, exploring nature, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Hello, I am Busra. I am originally from Turkey. I moved to Melbourne to show myself that different worlds are possible. I have worked utilised. I have conducted these works as both individual and group sessions. In my work, I utilized art therapy and playback theatre. In Melbourne, I provide therapeutic support services as a member of the Australian Community Workers Association (ACWA). I joined the Wonder Kidz team with great joy due to its commitment to cultural diversity, inclusivity, and prioritizing the needs of children. I am grateful to Wonder Kidz and its amazing kids for providing opportunities for growth and learning every day.

Hi, I am Jacque! 

I am originally from the Philippines, but my passion for kids brought me here to Australia to study Master in Behavior Analysis. I have three years of working experience with kids in different settings. I am a firm believer that teaching kids reach their potential does not only improve their lives but also the lives of those people surrounding them. I love to watch movies, play games or sometimes sports. My day is not complete without a sip of coffee in the morning.

At 26 years old, I am excited to embark on my journey as a support worker at Wonder Kidz, bringing a unique blend of cultural diversity and academic background. Originally from Turkey, I've called Melbourne home for almost two years, immersing myself in the vibrant tapestry of this diverse community. I am passionate about understanding the intricacies of human behaviour and utilizing this knowledge to make a positive impact. 

  I am a 23 year old student from Poland. Throughout my life I have been getting an education in Psychology and gaining experience as a disability support worker. I love sports and being active - for the past six months I have been playing semi-professional soccer. I would rather be out of the city, in the bush, than on the busy streets. I enjoy music and computer games, and like to wind down with some arts and crafts such as painting or ceramics (although I am not very good at that, yet). I am calm and understanding, and will adjust to anybody's needs - whether that be sitting in silence, or a lively conversation. I love to cook and am always looking out for new things to make. I believe that communication, trust, and honesty build a relationship above all else, and that good relationships between people are the key to a world of understanding, love, and unity.

Hello! I'm' Batu. I have been a support worker for two years, driven by a deep commitment to positively impact people's lives and support their progress. This purpose led me to become part of the Wonder Kidz family. Rawan's compassionate approach towards children, coupled with her professionalism in healthcare, is something I have not encountered for a long time. I knew I wanted to work here from the moment I witnessed it.
