Wonder Mates
A specialised transition and social program for young people aged 16–21 with profound disabilities.
Wonder Mates was created for teenagers and young adults with profound disabilities who may be transitioning out of school and are not suited to, or cannot be fully accommodated within, mainstream or traditional specialised day programs.
We understand that many young people still need a safe, nurturing, relationship-based environment where they can continue to feel accepted, cared for, included, and socially connected while slowly building their confidence, independence, daily living skills, and community participation at their own pace without pressure, unrealistic expectations, or being rushed.
